Music Software Trade Assoc.) and SAE Institute as they host IMSTA FESTA, a celebration of music technology packed with Panels, Workshops & Master Classes, Song Critiques, Demonstrations and more. Hosting industry experts in an environment where music-makers can network, interact and learn with each other face-to-face, this annual one-day event is not to be missed. IMSTA FESTA is a FREE event open to everyone in the music making community; professional and semi-professional musicians, songwriters, music producers, and audio engineers, as well as music students and educators.

Eduard Muhaxheri - Nugen Audio

Kosova-born, London based, Eduard Muhaxheri started his music journey as rapper/producer Versatile E. Singles like The Escapade, Capital E, My Way and All Around You have earned him admirable recognition and respect among his peers, and the opportunity to share the stage with superstar rapper Snoop Dogg. He is also a qualified sound engineer, and holds a part-time position as an Audio Supervisor at SAE Institute Bankstock Studios in London.

Joan Torruella - Reveal Sound

Joan Torruella is a young London-based music producer, DJ and sound designer/modular synth aficionado. He is currently studying audio production at SAE. Producing mainly in the box but also incorporating various instruments, as well as field recordings. He is currently working on developing a sound that is mainly influenced by industrial Techno.



Christian Duka – XILS Lab

Christian Duka is a sound designer/artist of a generation that emerged in the wake of digital technology. He teaches Electronic Music at SAE Institute, curates the artistic programme of Aures London, UK’s first permanent 3D sound venue and explores sound art in cross art-forms collaborations involving contemporary dance, performance and visual artists in immersive environments.



Essie B – SAE Institute - Panelist

East London born, Essie B is a Music Producer, Keyboardist and Singer-Songwriter. She has played keys for up and coming UK artists such as singer Claire B. Donzet and rapper Feed’em. She produced the successful tracks by InderPaul Sandhu titled “Compromise” and “Go Blind” which were both added to the playlist rota on BBC Radio London. She has since then produced three more tracks for InderPaul off his new EP 'The Bloom Tape'.



Oskar Sadle – Avid

Oskar Sadle is an Audio Application Specialist at Avid based in Stockholm, Sweden. For the past few years he’s been working as an engineer and producer in the US, joining Avid at the end of 2018. He will showcase how Avid’s products enables you to work faster and smarter while keeping your creative flow going.



James Auwarter - Panelist

Grammy Award Winning Engineer "Studio James" is known for his diversity, working within practically every genre of music over the years. His ears are highly sought after by leading acts in the rock, jazz, classical, gospel, and hip hop communities, among others. A few of these notable clients have been: Kanye West, Yo-Yo Ma, PJ Morton, Jamila Woods, Kirk Franklin, Kurt Elling, Adam Levine, Cowboy Troy, Tom Higgenson (Plain White Tees), Donald Lawrence etc.



Ash Walker – SAE Institute - Panelist

Ash walker is a British musician, producer and songwriter based in London. He started working in the industry for several years as a session guitarist with bands playing various nationwide venues including London’s 02 Arena. Ash toured the UK with several acts (Short Stories and Tom Lumley & the brave liaisons) and performed toping the bill at the Isle of white festival 2018. Ash has a deep passion for all genres of music and experiments by fusing these in his productions and writing style.



Jamie Stonehouse – SAE Institute - Panelist

Jamie worked as a Commentary Audio Engineer at the summer Olympic Games including London 2012 and Rio 2016, and has been a Music assistant for Urban Soul Orchestra, providing modern pop string arrangements for quartets and big bands. Jamie also acts as consultant and course content provider in the field of Videogame and Interactive Audio.



Nathan Loughran – SAE Institute - Moderator

Nathan has fourteen years’ experience working in education both as a College Lecturer and as a Manager. He is currently employed as Campus Director for SAE Institute London. Prior to this he worked as the Head of School for “Creative Industries” at City of Westminster College and before that he was the Head of Department for “Media, Music and Performing Arts” at Oaklands College. His teaching background is in Music Production and Performance.



Michael Wynne - FL Studio

Michael Wynne is a British recording artist and mixer who founded the popular online communtiy and YouTube page 'In The Mix'. He is an FL Studio Power user and enjoys teaching people how to use FL Studio along with other production and mixing tips on his YouTube channel.



Sarah Hezen - Sonible

Sarah Hezen is a French award-winning producer, singer & songwriter based in London, making dark experimental pop and performing under the name HEZEN. Aside from her solo artist career she's been commissioned on various commercial projects for Prada, Yamaha & Technogym as well as art projects, short films and alternative circus productions.



Jasper Jeurissen - accusonus

Jasper Jeurissen is a singer/songwriter and producer from Brussels. A fan of classic rock, soul and hip hop at the age of 20, he's already performed many gigs and released nearly 2 albums. He's now based in London and working at Soup studios.



Vincent Cantelaube - u-he

Vincent Cantelaube is a sound designer and music producer based in London, currently studying audio production at SAE. Producing on software instruments as well as hardware, he mostly worked for the fashion industry, with projects going from fashion videos sound to productions for London's fashion week catwalks. He release is first EP : "Migrations" under the alias CIV in May 2019.



Dax Liniere - FabFilter

Dax Liniere is a London-based record producer and mixer. Twice awarded Producer Of The Year, Dax has run Puzzle Factory Sound Studios for over 18 years. He created the MixDirection mixing masterclass, has presented several Pro Tools Expert videos on mixing and is a contributor to AudioTechnology Magazine.



RENATO IAROSSI - SYNCHRO ARTS

Renato Iarossi is the Customer Support Specialist for Synchro Arts. A Music Industry veteran with over 20 years of experience and a true passion for Music, Music Production and Customer Support, he will welcome questions on Synchro Arts products and their integration in a variety of DAWs.



Helienne Lindvall - Keynote Moderator

Award-winning professional songwriter, musician and columnist, she’s chair of the Songwriter Committee & Board Director, Ivors Academy of Music Creators and Chairs the Ivor Novello Awards and writes columns for The Guardian.



Steve Lawson - Blue Cat Audio

Steve Lawson is a solo artist, mastering engineer, magazine columnist and academic. He lectures in music technology, performance and production, tours globally, and has released over 50 solo and collaborative albums over the last 20 years, which have received extensive radio airplay and coverage in the UK national press.



Vivian Robins – Serato

Vivian Robins ( DJ V ) is a Drum & Bass DJ & Music Producer, Sound Engineer, Sound Designer, Film Composer, and Foley artist. He also runs a digital record label with the Lifefm.tv collective called “Life For Music”. He is currently in his last year studying an Audio Production Degree at SAE London and has experience of teaching Music Production and DJing in collages and youth centres. He loves to create his own original bass sounds that cant be done twice via distortions, effects and modulations. He feels most at home when in the studio, behind the mixing desk.



Rich Morson – iZotope

Rich Morson is iZotope’s Sales & Product Specialist for the UK, Nordics and Russia. With a 15 year career that spans Engineering, Product Specialist and Product Management roles in the professional Music, Post and Broadcast Industries. Rich will be on hand to talk all things iZotope, from our Creative Products through to Mixing, Mastering and Repair.



Nikolay Georgiev – Acon Digital

Nikolay Georgiev is a London based engineer, producer, plug-in developer and an experienced lecturer in Sound Engineering and Music Production. In 2015 he was the national chairman of the UK section of the Audio Engineering Society. As an engineer, Nik is known as someone with a great deal of recording experience on-location and in spaces with unusual acoustics. He is also the developer for plug-ins such as Acustica Audio's Lime and Navy, the bigger part of Cream and some of the modules in Pink.



Bulent Biyikoglu – KV331

With the success of SynthMaster, Bülent officially founded KV331 Audio in 2012. Since then, the KV331 Audio team developed SynthMaster 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9, SynthMaster Player and SynthMaster One softwares for Windows, MacOS and iOS platforms. The team is currently working towards SynthMaster 3.0, which is expected to be released at the end of 2019.



Bryan Borcherds – Arturia

Bryan Borcherds is a producer, engineer, and product demonstrator for Arturia. He likes everything from quiet electronic music to loud guitar based songs. He's based in London, UK, and can often be seen in studios across the world.



Jonny Amos – Song Reviewer

Jonny Amos is a world travelled songwriter with numerous cuts in Europe (UK X Factor winner Shayne Ward, Hattie Keane, Miss D(#1 in Portugal for 6 weeks) Honik, Jackie Paladino, Robin, Maria Lawson, Georgia Burgess, Shizuka). He has numerous SYNC placements (Sky One, MTV, Hollywood Wives, Celebrity Drag Racing, Hollyoaks).
Currently, he is the creative Director of The SongLab.



Dom Sigalas - Steinberg

Dom Sigalas is a London based film composer, music producer, sound designer and musicologist. Dom has composed and produced music for films, television and radio commercials, documentaries (Animal Planet), musicals, corporate video, video games, websites and hundreds of tracks of library music. His credits include National Geographic, Studiocanal and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.



Andrew Sappleton - Steinberg

Sappo is a Drum and Bass DJ/Producer and mastering engineer, and former BBC 1Xtra and Radio 1 presenter. He has released many classic Drum and Bass/Jungle tracks over his 25-year career and now mixes and masters for some of the biggest labels and artists on vinyl and digital in the hip-hop, bass music and drum and bass world.



Anthony Goldsbrough - Song Reviewer

Also known as Mr Goldsbrough, the writer/producer has recently been working with Grammy-winner Lady V, Jalen N'Gonda, Bleu, Tom Olbrich (BMG), Tom Martin (Universal), Sonny (Platoon), Nashville artist Jeffrey James, Paul Whalley (Notting Hill Music), Jamie Grey, German producer Dhali (Warner Chappell) as well as regularly writing with ex-Holloways Alfie Jackson (Reservoir/Reverb) and MADM artist Georgie Keller.



Wolfgang Wanko - Best Service

Started as ambient music producer before he started working for Music Shop / Best Service 1995 in Munich. Witnessed the birth of the first native real time EQ and gigabyte samplers. Lee Boylan - PreSonus

Lee Boylan works as the sole Product specialist for PreSonus in EMEA covering all categories including hardware and software products. Lee is a Musician and engineer/Producer from Dublin, Ireland. He had a number one album in Ireland with his band Fight Like Apes and has played in a wide variety of other bands, including drumming with John Illsley (ex-Dire Straits). Boylan also holds a Masters Degree in Music and Media Technology from Trinity College Dublin.
