Frank Casillas - Reveal Sound

Frank Casillas is a composer/musician and college student who specializes in making music via inexpensive methods. Having composed on several devices including smartphones and even video-game consoles, he has gained knowledge of various DAWs, plug-ins, and VSTs. He will be showing off Spire by Reveal Sound @ IMSTA FESTA.



BRENT JAVIER - U-HE

Brent Javier is a Los Angeles based musician, producer, and digital artist. He is versed in a variety in music production software tools to help people of all ages enhance their creations and workflow! Brent also performs as a rap artist and 3D projection mapper across the US.



MATT LARA - NATIVE INSTRUMENTS

Matnetik is the glitch-based, future bass and funk movement that shreds formal electronic conception. His dirty south roots from Miami to Houston led to the Live DJ/Producer taking an unprecedented, multi-genre attack on heavy basslines and wompy, psychedelic melodies. From the glitchy Matnetik projects, to the funky live electronic band SoDope, to the pop of Oh1, and the writing team INFRARED, Matt is breaking his way into the community and creating a forefront to future of a genre blending style.



MARY DROPPINZ - NATIVE INSTRUMENTS

Hailing from Nebraska, this LA resident is making her way through the house and techno scene under the name Mary Droppinz. With her heartwarming musical inspiration stemming from her father's drum beats, Mary Droppinz passion for music started as a baby. Traktor is the reason she is a DJ today as that is what taught her and she's been an advocate ever since. Now performing all around Southern California and Vegas, she is making waves in the community. If that wasn't enough to keep the fire burning, she also is working for Native Instruments on the Marketing Team to combine her passion with her work. Mary Droppinz fuel is driven from empowering others and inspiring a creative musical journey of dance.



TONY FRANCO - SONIBLE

Tony Franco is a freelance recording and mixing engineer. Tony had cut his teeth working with artists in studios, both small and large, around the greater Los Angeles area. Tony has over half a decade of experience mixing remotely for independent artists from around the world. He specializes in working with Hip Hop and electronic pop genres, but ventures out to work with occasional singer song-writers and rock bands as well. Tony likes to work with artists and musicians on a personal level. He feels that creating a positive vibe, and maintaining open communication between the artist and mixer or producer, can nurture more successful songs.



ZACH KELLY - XILS LAB

Zach grew up around an eclectic combination of genres: hip hop, 80's, house, and jazz, all which became infused with his own love for music. Zach completed his degree in music production and recording arts at Elon University in North Carolina. During this time, Zach grew his engineering experience with internships at Red Stache Media, Indigo Studios, and Mix Loft Recording Studio.



LUIS FUENTES - FABFILTER

Recording & mixing engineer / producer based in the San Fernando Valley, California. Luis Fuentes has about 8 years working in the music industry with a variety of song writers, producers, recording artist, record labels and recording studios in Los Angeles. Graduating from the Art Institute of California - Los Angeles with a Bachelors degree in Audio Production, Luis has worked with artists like Sage The Gemini, Akon, Flo Rida, Kat Dahlia and Jojo along side working for Atlantic Records for a few years.



JERRY MATEO - BLUE CAT AUDIO

Jerry Mateo is an recording and mixing engineer, software educator, live sound engineer, and a video content creator for many software companies. Born and raised in Los Angeles area, Jerry has played many styles of music in various bands for years, ranging from his classically trained roots all the way to hard hitting metal. He is currently recording and teaching many upcoming local acts how to record and wright music that will translate the message they are trying to express.



Antonio Dixon - IK MULTIMEDIA

Antonio Dixon began his professional songwriting and production career while attending Hampton University, in Virginia. This Denver, Colorado native, worked with numerous artist including Wrecks-n-Effects, GUY, and Teddy Riley. He then moved to Chicago where he broadened his songwriting to include gospel. His credits in the gospel arena include working with such recording artists as: Marvin Sapp, R. Kelly, Yolanda Adams and artist Smokie Norful. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he has recorded with various artists including: Brian McKnight, N' Sync, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Mary Mary, Babyface, Joe & Tyrese.

DEREK OLDS - CELEMONY

Along with his Artistic and Production pursuits, Derek Olds is currently an Instructor at The Los Angeles Film & Recording School in Hollywood, and is also heavily involved in the Audio Engineering/Tech worlds. From 2014 to 2018, he was honored to help run the Celemony: Melodyne booths at NAMM, AES, IMSTA, and the Grammy P&E party. We often hear him describe the 'computer' as just another instrument - another tool to convey emotion. As a result, he has strived and excelled in every aspect of modern music from writing, to performing, to production and sound engineering, resulting in truly individual records.



KEVIN OCHOA - FL STUDIO

Kevin has heavily focused on the technical side of production. His love of sound design and education has helped when delivering masterclasses for various synths such has Harmor and Sytrus. Kevin is also a winner of Image-Line's Dance Anthem competition. When not focusing on the aggressive sounds of Hardstyle, Kevin relaxes by producing Melodic Techno. DERRICK FLOYD – IK MULTIMEDIA

Artist, Musician, Songwriter, Life-Coach and Motivational Speaker, are just a few of the words that describe Derrick Floyd. If you ask him, he is a constant work in progress. By day, he is the National Sales and Product Specialist Manager for the ground breaking music technology company, IK Multimedia who is one of the leaders in making professional software tools for musicians, producers and engineers all over the world. Also being the pioneers of mobile recording revolution with the invention of the iRig family of portable recording products has given Derrick a front roll seat at the helm of the constant evolving world of creative music technology products. By night, he is the executive director of The Beautiful Now Project. A company founded on the principles of using all forms of digital media, Music, Video, etc. to Uplift, Encourage and Inspire those around us to be their best version of themselves. He believes that in order to truly change the world, we have to start with offering the world the best of ourselves, creating and living in the space we were designed to be, and giving THAT to our jobs, family, and friends, then we will change the world for the better, one person at a time.



Brian Kullas - Native Instruments

Brian Kullas is a classically trained musician who started playing piano at the age of 6. Born and educated in Connecticut, Brian studied at Dickinson College to pursue a traditional music degree in performance and composition. He soon discovered that his real passion was electronic music production and DJing. Brian attended Dubspot Electronic Music Production and DJ School, where he was able to hone his DJ and music production skills. Brian is now the Lead US Product Specialist for Native Instruments and has been with Native Instruments for the past 6 years. Brian has focused his electronic music style on house, techno, Trap & Hiphop using MASCHINE, KOMPLETE, and TRAKTOR.
