The Music Industries Association of Canada (MIAC) is proud to present two essential industry shows under one roof, MIAC 2008 Show, Canada’s Premier Trade Show for Music Products and the PAL Show, Canada’s Largest Production Technologies Show. It is the only event of its kind in Canada that brings such a diverse group of manufacturers, distributors, and industry suppliers in one place at one time. Each show will be bursting with new and exciting features, seminars, and social events with something for absolutely everyone.

Inside the MIAC 2008 Show you’ll find companies touting the latest and greatest innovations in musical instruments such as brass, stringed, percussion, woodwind, electronic and electric, music publication, sheet music, accessories, hardware and components, repair and tuning equipment, computer hardware and software, and industry associations and print media.
In addition to exploring the exhibit halls with over 200 vendors, you can also participate in free educational sessions with today’s industry leaders, plus take part in first-class social and networking events, including this year’s Casino Royale 007 Welcome Party scheduled to take place at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel on Saturday, August 23rd and the Gala Reception & Dinner which will be held on Sunday, August 24th at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel. The Gala Dinner is not only the highlight of the trade show it’s also a memorable evening of fine cuisine, exotic wine, and great entertainment. |
This year’s two-day Guitar Symposium is presented by MIAC and the Canadian Music Educators’ Association (CMEA), and sponsored by GAMA for Music Educators free of charge. The symposium will be led by Bob Denny, Head of Fine Arts & Technology, John McCrae Secondary School located in Ottawa. Bob is the Canadian GAMA representative and clinician for teaching guitar workshops.
The PAL Show which has continued to grow in scope and scale since its inaugural event in 2002, promises to be our largest ever, boasting more exhibitors, exciting events and great opportunities for your business to flourish.
Visitors to the PAL Show can expect to see a vast and exciting display from top quality exhibitors from a number of relevant fields featuring the newest technologies and emerging trends in pro audio, sound, lighting & video, staging & rigging, broadcast and production, presentation and communication, dj equipment, software and digital signage.
