She has also worked with Propellerhead Software, and Cakewalk/Edirol Europe in the production of teaching resources and the coordination of education programs. Stephanie now runs her own project management, marketing and communications business, working with international industry clients.
"We have a lot to do in the UK", comments Stephanie. "But I'm really looking forward to working with our IMSTA members to help increase user awareness. Changing people's behaviour won't happen overnight, but if we can educate them to start thinking more seriously about the consequences of software piracy, that's a big step in the right direction."
Over the next year, planned IMSTA UK activities include presence at music industry and education events, VIP and media campaigns. There will also be a special project targeting schools and colleges, aimed at educating the next generation of software customers on the negative effects of software piracy.
